Privacy Notice

What personal data we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and your rights.

Draft — pending legal review

This is a plain-language placeholder and is not yet final. It will be reviewed by counsel before launch.

What we collect

  • Account data: email, password (stored only as a secure hash), sign-in sessions.
  • Profile data: name, date of birth (to confirm you're 18+; only your age is shown), gender, preferences, photos, bio, city and approximate area.
  • Verification data: the result of your face check. The selfie itself is deleted right after the check.
  • Booking and payment records: what you booked, amounts, refunds and payouts. Card details are handled by our payment provider, not us.
  • Safety data: reports, blocks and moderation decisions.
  • Technical data: device and browser type, IP address, for security and fraud prevention.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and show your profile to other members.
  • To keep the community safe, verify members and prevent fraud.
  • To process bookings, payments, refunds and payouts.
  • To meet legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from authorities.

Who can see it

Other members see only your public profile. Your email, date of birth and verification data are private. We share data with service providers (hosting, email, payments, verification) only as needed to run the service, under contract.

How long we keep it

Profile and photos are removed when you delete your account. Payment and safety records are kept for as long as the law requires (typically up to 8 years for financial records).

Your rights

  • Access and download your data from the Privacy centre.
  • Correct inaccurate data from your profile settings.
  • Withdraw consent from the Privacy centre (some features may stop working).
  • Delete your account from the Privacy centre.
  • Complain to our Grievance Officer, and to the Data Protection Board of India once constituted.
