Terms of Service
The rules for using Companion: who can join, what you can and can't do, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Draft — pending legal review
This is a plain-language placeholder and is not yet final. It will be reviewed by counsel before launch.
Who can use the service
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must be legally able to enter a contract in India.
- You may have only one account, and it must be about you — no impersonation.
- You can't use the service if we've previously removed you.
What the service is
Companion lets adults meet for dating, and lets members book or offer lawful, non-sexual companionship by the hour — for example a city walk, a museum visit or a meal. It is not an escort service and must never be used for sexual services.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think your account has been misused.
- Information you give us must be accurate, including your date of birth.
- You must complete email and face verification before using most features.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us a licence to host and show it on the service so it works. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or our rules.
Payments
Companion bookings are paid through the platform only. Fees, cancellations and refunds are explained in the Refund Policy and shown before you pay.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms, our Community Rules or the Companion Rules, or where the law requires. You can appeal a suspension from your account.
Liability
We work hard to keep the community safe but we can't guarantee how other members behave. Meet in public, follow our safety advice, and report anything that worries you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Changes
If we change these Terms in a material way we'll tell you and ask you to agree again.
Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you can contact our Grievance Officer about any complaint relating to content or your use of the service.
Name: [Grievance Officer name — to be appointed] · Email: [grievance@example.com] · Address: [Registered office address, India]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
